On September 24th, Frederiksborg Fire and Rescue Service organised the final dissemination event of the School Emergency project. During the event, the participants learnt about the project, the Erasmus+ programme, and were introduced to the use and potential applications of the School Emergency online platform.

A survey was carried out at the end of the event and results showed that a 66.7% of the participants will use the School Emergency e-learning platform to train others and a 33.3% as an inspiration to develop training courses, projects, policies, etc. Based on the results of the survey, a total number of 524 students will be trained using the School Emergency online platform. Furthermore, the 100% of the attendees would recommend others to use the School Emergency online platform.

On September 22nd, Alcalá de Guadaíra Fire and Rescue Service and the High School Profesor Tierno Galván organised the final dissemination webinar of the School Emergency project. During the event, the participants learnt about the project, the Erasmus+ programme, and were introduced to the use and potential applications of the School Emergency online platform.

A survey was carried out at the end of the event and results showed that an 77.5% of the participants will use the School Emergency online platform for their own training, a 47.5% to train others and a 37.5% as an inspiration to develop training courses, projects, policies, etc. Based on the results of the survey, a total number of 1480 students will be trained using the School Emergency online platform. Furthermore, the 92.5% of the attendees would recommend others to use the School Emergency online platform.

On September 11th, Vilnius Division of Civil Protection and the school Vilniaus Kunigaikščio Gedimino Progimnazija organised the final dissemination event of the School Emergency project. During the event, the participants learnt about the project, the Erasmus+ programme, and were introduced to the use and potential applications of the School Emergency online platform.

A survey was carried out at the end of the event and results showed that a 50% of the participants will use the School Emergency online platform for their own training, a 82% to train others and a 28.5% as an inspiration to develop training courses, projects, policies, etc. Based on the results of the survey a total number of 915 students will be trained using the School Emergency online platform. Furthermore, the 95% of the attendees would recommend others to use the School Emergency online platform.

From 28th to 30th January, the seven partner organisations of the School Emergency project met in Vilnius (Lithuania) for their third transnational meeting.

The first day of the meeting began with a warm welcome from Sandra Norbutaite, Head of Vilnius Civil Protection. Next, the project partners presented and evaluated the results from the testing of the e-learning platform in four countries (Denmark, Spain, Estonia and Lithuania) between September and December 2019. Based on the testers feedback, the project partners defined the improvements to be implemented on the e-learning platform before the final publication in September 2020.

The next project meeting will take place in Hillerød (Denmark) in May 2020. During this meeting the project partners will evaluate the final version of the e-learning platform and plan the final dissemination activities of the project.

From 9th to 11th April, the seven partner organisations of the School Emergency project met in Tallinn (Estonia) for their second transnational meeting.

The first day of the meeting began with a warm welcome from Mr. Tauno Suurkivi, Deputy Director General of Estonian Rescue Board. Next, the project partners carried out an evaluation of the e-learning content developed so far and revised the guidelines for the next project activity, the testing of the e-learning platform with primary and secondary school teachers and students from four countries: Denmark, Spain, Estonia and Lithuania.

The next project meeting will take place in Vilnius (Lithuania) in January 2020. During the meeting in Vilnius, the project partners will evaluate the results from the testing and define the improvements to be implemented on the e-learning platform before the final publication.

From 7th to 9th November 2018, the seven partner organisations of the School Emergency project met in Alcalá de Guadaíra (Spain) for our first transnational meeting.

The first day of the meeting began with a warm welcome from Germán Terrón, Councilor from the City Council of Alcalá de Guadaíra. It was followed by an introduction to the background of the project presented by Kim Lintrup, chief fire officer of Frederiksborg Fire and Rescue Service, and Marcelino Sancho, chief fire officer of Alcalá de Guadaíra.

The project partners used this first project meeting to set strong foundations for the work of the partnership. In particular, we worked on the guidelines for the development of the training content and the publication of the training content on the e-learning platform.

The next step will be to finalise the development of the online training content before the second project meeting planned for April 2019.
